CINEMA : I had yesterday night the joy and the emotion to watch again the movie Harrison's Flowers directed by Elie Chouraqui, french director.
I post here a Imdb's user comment about it, posted on October 31-2001 by Guillaume Louyot, which describe correctly what this incredible movie about ex-yougoslavia war deals with:

"This is the first movie where reporters are correctly and very well described. I am not (yet ?) a reporter, but my father is one of them. He did run through the missiles and the bullets to report to us what really goes during wars. By what he described me, I can tell you that Harrison's Flowers is very near from reality. Also, the place of reporters' children and family has been really well directed and written. My brother who saw this film too thought it was about me, and I thought it was about him. At the end of the movie, I was disappointed for about two hours. This is not a hollywood blockbuster. This is a fresh and true horrible movie. I hope you'll enjoy as I did."

One day I'll hope be able to direct movies like that, which put your stomac up and down from the first picture till the end. I think this film is a must see. And I gently fuck the one who prefer shake their thing while watching shits like Tomb Raider or some of the Hollyshit blockbuster that give you only one message : give me your money bastard, and sleep well during my show. This film kicks. And after you won't watch news passively like you did.

Selected Short Film : Migrations ( France, 1998 ) , by Constantin Chamski. Click here to watch it online !

This animated allegory about an angelic statue that longs for freedom is as breathtaking as it is insightful. When the statue espies a flock of migrating geese, it rips itself from the colossal architecture on which it has been affixed and endeavors to join the birds. Unfortunately for the statue, the looming autocratic structure has other ideas.
