ANIMATION: SIP Animation releases his upcoming COMBO NINOS TV show
|
Combo Ninos, an upcoming tv serie is about four kids who can transform into animal-inspired superheroes. Serio turns into a jaguar, Paco becomes a bull, Pilar morphs into an iguana and Azul takes on the appearance of an eagle. Combining their magical skills with moves inspired by the Brazilian martial art Capoeira, they protect their beautiful, ancient city of Nova Nizza from the Divinos, mischievous, madcap immortals from another dimension.
There are more than twenty different Divinos, including Insecto Gigante, a tiny bug with a big personality and plan to have insects rule over humans, and El Gecko, an artist Divino who wants to use the entire city of Nova Nizza as his canvas.
Jetix Europe holds the TV distribution, home video and consumer product rights for Combo Niños across Europe. Disney’s Buena Vista International Television will service television distribution of the series. Onickz Artworks is leading post production compositing & partyl editing (opening and ending) teamed with BSS for SIP Animation.

WORLD: U.N. torture envoy says U.S. deny access to Iraq jails
|
By Stephanie Nebehay GENEVA (Reuters) - The U.N. investigator on torture said on Tuesday the United States had denied his request to visit U.S.-run jails in Iraq and insisted a visit could help clear its legacy of the prison abuse scandal in Abu Ghraib. Manfred Nowak, United Nations special rapporteur on torture, said he had received credible information the situation had improved at U.S. detention facilities in recent years, but stressed only a visit would allow him to verify them. An international outcry erupted in 2004 after images of prisoner abuse by U.S. military personnel at Abu Ghraib west of Baghdad, including naked detainees stacked in a pyramid and others cowering before snarling dogs, became public. read more here

Superb track from Syd Matters, "To All of You" talks about American girls. A timeless tune with melancholy, written and performed by Syd aka Jonathan Morali, french man. It reminds me the innoncence and melancholy of movie soundtracks from french movie about Parisian girls, Diabolo Menthe, but with this american style, that matches exactly my point of view on happy but lonely californian girls.
