Lors de la myhtique compétition hawaïenne de bodysurf, la célèbre Pipeline Bodysurfing Classic, où tous les meilleurs glisseurs de la planête se retrouvent, nos rideurs français font la une des journaux locaux !!!!

Au milieu de soixante compétiteurs dont le célèbre Mike Stewart, 9 fois champion du monde de bodyboard et 10 fois vainqueur de l'épreuve, ou encore Steve Kapela dernier vainqueur de la dernière édition, Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Tom Curren ou le chanteur Donavan Frankenreiter, nos 3 tricolores ont réussi à plus que tirer leur épingle du jeu.

Les commentateurs du Live Streaming ont réellement insisté sur les performances des tricolores durant toute la retransmission, malgré des conditions peu favorables avec tempête, pluie, vent et mêtre cinquante de vagues.

Bastien Bonnarme a été le premier français à se faire sortir lors des séries. Bravo tout de même à Bastos !

De son côté, Frédéric David surfe avec humilité, passe les séries les unes après les autres et surclasse les meilleurs bodysurfeurs mondiaux pour se qualifier en finale, aux côtés de 3 hawaïens (Chose très rare à hawaii, où le localisme est omniprésent...).

En effet, notre frenchie à fort à faire puisque cette ultime série est composée de l'insurmontable hawaïen Mike Stewart et de 2 autres compétieurs intraitables. Mais rien n'y fait, Frédéric à la rage et surfe au dessus de ses concurrents ! Avec une technique quasi parfaite, il décroche une médaille d'argent derrière Mike Stewart et rate la plus haute marche du podium. Il devient tout de même deuxième meilleur bodysurfeur mondial, sachant qu'il est toujours quasi impossible pour non hawaïen de s'imposer ici !!!

En tous les cas, l'ensemble de la Fédération Française de Surf et de la commission nationale bodysurf fécilite Frédéric pour ce magnifique résultat et ce titre de deuxième meilleur bodysurfeur mondial !!
