I prefered the home where I lived last week but it's nice to get back. 14783 emails (with 95% of Spam), and a big jetlag to fight with. Soon some photos before the edited videos of my California Trip. It was great.

WORLD: Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan The Legend died
|
(1918-2004) Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who died yesterday after ruling the UAE since the birth of the federation more than three decades ago, enjoyed the role of elder statesman in a conflict-torn region.

The Courts of Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates in statements issued yesterday mourned with deep sorrow the sad loss of the country’s leader.
“The Presidential Court announces to the people of the Emirates, the Arab and Muslim worlds and the entire world that the leader of the nation and the builder of its civilisation, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, died on the evening of Tuesday, November 2, the 19th of Ramadan. May God have mercy on him.”
The Presidential Court extends its heartfelt condolences to the UAE people, the Arab and Islamic world and the world at large, the statement said, adding that it prayed to Almighty God to rest his soul in peace and give the UAE nationals the courage to bear the great loss.
The Dubai Ruler’s Court also mourned the President's death. The court paid tribute to Shaikh Zayed, who dedicated his life to the service of his country, people, the Arab and Islamic nation and the humanity at large. "May God rest his soul in peace and bestow mercy on him," the statement said.
His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, will receive condolences at Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi, after Maghreb prayers for three days from today.
The court of His Highness Dr. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, mourned the death of the President. “With deep sorrow and grief we mourn the demise of Shaikh Zayed who led a life full of honourable stances and acts in the service of his people and his Arab and Muslim nation,” the court said in a statement.
He was deeply devoted to his country, it said.
The court of His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, in a statement said Shaikh Zayed's life was replete with honourable stances and deeds.
“He spent his lifetime in building a modern state and serving his Arab and Islamic nation,” it said.
The Court of His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, while mourning the death of President, said: “The death of Shaikh Zayed is not a loss for the UAE only but also for the whole humanity”.
The statement described the lifetime of Shaikh Zayed as one devoted completely to the advancement of peace, good and rights and adherence to Islamic teachings and his nation's heritage.
The court of His Highness Shaikh Rashid Bin Ahmad Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, mourned the death of the President.
''The UAE today lost one of its most loyal and historic figure who built its civilisation and achieved the ambitions of his people as per a far-sighted vision and prudent stewardship,” a court statement said.
It added that the Arab nation had lost one of its great national leaders.
''Shaikh Zayed dedicated his life and resources to achieve Arab unity and solidarity and preserve its future as well as its security and rights,” the statement said.

Entertainment: Dutch Filmmaker, Who Angered Muslims, Shot Dead
|
By Paul Gallagher and Marcel Michelson
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A controversial Dutch filmmaker accused by Muslims of ridiculing their religion was stabbed and shot dead on his bicycle on Tuesday, shocking the Netherlands where the murder was denounced as an attack on free speech.
Theo van Gogh, a distant relative of 19th century Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, stirred controversy with newspaper articles, books and films voicing his contentious views on Islam after the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.
Van Gogh, 47, was attacked near a park close to the center of the Dutch capital in the morning on his way to work in what could be the second political killing in the country in two years after anti-immigration politician Pim Fortuyn was shot.
Police arrested a man near the scene after an exchange of gunfire in which the suspect wounded a police officer. The suspect, who was wounded in the leg, was a 26-year-old man with dual Dutch and Moroccan citizenship.
Police said the murder was clearly premeditated.
A note was found at the scene and, Dutch media said, it contained lines from the Koran, the Muslim holy book.
Van Gogh, who branded imams women-haters and ridiculed the Prophet Mohammad in his newspaper columns, was hailed as a champion of free speech by some Dutch but others called him an extremist, while Muslims said they found his work insulting.
He had received death threats but had rejected protection after a recent television program, called Submission, about domestic violence in some Muslim marriages.
"Van Gogh was someone who joined the public debate with outspoken views. He was a champion of free speech. The Netherlands is a country in which people can speak their mind. We must all stand for that," said Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency.
Security for politicians was stepped up after the killing of Fortuyn by an animal rights activist ahead of a May 2002 election in which his party took second place.
The Netherlands is home to nearly one million Muslims or 5.5 percent of the population.

USA: Time to vote guys
|
We had in France a little problem during last presidential elections. The two "finalists" were two men that then french did not want to vote for. Chirac VS Lepen. Mr Lepen is the bad guy of the story. The population did vote for Chirac because there were NO reason that Lepen became a french president.
These days, if you are a USA citizen, you are granted by state to open your mouth. Even if you do not like any of the two potential presidents, think who you need to eliminate from this election. If you want to vote for Bush, you can close this page. I do not love John Kerry, as I do not love any politic; but I have to admit I like him. Don't let any of Bush or Ussama Bin Laden destroy us. Peace out.
